Piston trunnion cylinder is widely used in hydraulic transmission. When the trunnion cylinder works, it mainly delivers hydraulic oil alternately to both sides of the piston in the trunnion cylinder, and uses the pressure difference of hydraulic oil on both sides of the piston to realize the reciprocating movement of the piston. If you want to speed up the forward speed of the piston, the return oil in the trunnion cylinder can be controlled by the valve and directly input into the inlet pipe to participate in the work of the piston to achieve rapid movement of the piston, but the thrust of the piston is reduced much.

The scar on the sliding surface of the trunnion cylinder piston will transfer with use. Before the piston is installed, there are scars on its sliding surface, which are installed intact and untreated, and these scars will in turn scratch the inner surface of the trunnion cylinder wall. Therefore, before installation, these scars must be fully repaired.

The viscosity of the working oil used in the trunnion cylinder is 29~74mm2/S, and ISO VG46 anti-wear hydraulic oil is recommended. Working oil temperature within the range of -20~80. C. When the ambient temperature and service temperature are low, the oil with lower viscosity can be selected.

The difference between the plunger trunnion cylinder and the piston trunnion cylinder is that the piston in the trunnion cylinder is replaced by a shaft plunger, which is used in hydraulic transmission requiring a long mechanical stroke, and can only input pressure oil from one direction, pressurize in a single direction, and form a thrust to push the plunger to move. The return trip of the plunger depends on the plunger itself to fall, and some rely on the spring to push back to the original position.
